OVERVIEW: The atmosphere is purely New Orleans and the time is Mardi Gras--this is a party that gets any group in a great mood. We begin the party with an authentic New Orleans Street Band to get everyone in the right spirit upon arriving. Our Mardi Gras Man street performer will greet your guests with his exuberant personality and his trained macaws, while a strolling magician adds a dash of mystery and intrigue. A traditional Cajun lunch followed by fun play time at the casino will keep the adults happy while the children make their crafts and interact with the jester. A great party favor to hand out upon guest arrival is an exotic feather mask. An excellent recipe for an exciting and entertaining day for all of your guests. Music.....

The New Orleans Street Band: The real traditional thing! Big Mama Sue will be accompanied by three musicians. They will play the music of New Orleans, including Dixieland, Jazz, and Blues with lots of fun and excitement. Big Mama Sue wears her wonderfully outlandish purple and pink Mardi Gras dress and the men are handsomely attired in black and white.

Strolling Entertainment.....

The Mardi Gras Samba Queen Stilt Walker: now this woman truly defies description. Towering over 10 ft. tall she is costumed in bright and beautiful Mardi Gras attire. She will mix and mingle with your guests and promises to be the hit of the afternoon. She is not only beautiful to look at and very competent on her stilts, but her personality bubbles and ties all parts of the event together. An absolute must for a Mardi Gras bash.

Our Mardi Gras Jester: yes indeed, juggling, unicycling, and a full array of jester antics. This entertainer will interact with all of your guests with high energy, slight of hand wizardry and frolicking fun. In the true spirit of New Orleans...this character is a street performer of the highest grade.

Tarot Card Reader: sure to add intrigue and mystery to your event. Our reader will captivate guests with her talent. A truly unforgettable experience.

Mardi Gras Man and His Amazing Macaws: AKA Captain Byrde will get everyone in the party mood, greeting guests with his piratical banter, and the wonderful tricks of his trained Macaws. Captain Byrde defies description, no one will soon forget his performance. He's so colorful, your guests may wish to be photographed with him. His tamed and trained macaws provide the ultimate in walk-around entertainment. For this event he will be attired in his special Mardi Gras costume.

Magician: Always appropriate entertainment for Mardi Gras... this wizard of mystery and illusion will delight small groups with his wide variety of tricks and funny comments. Incorporating fire, cards, wild antics and more, this performer will intrigue all whom he comes in contact with.

Photo Opportunity.....

Photo Opportunity: We will provide a fully decorated photo booth in the traditional Mardi Gras style. The scene will look like a street parade with balcony, masks, second line parasol, and MOJO sticks. The guests can be given feather masks, boas, and other festive gear in which to pose. These are color Digital photographs presented to your guests on the spot. The package includes a themed set, photographer, assistant, theme props, nostalgic lighting package, delivery and installation.

Fixed Attractions.....

The Mardi Gras Craft Program: Our professional art instructors come prepared to teach a variety of crafts. We teach crafts like colorful Mardi Gras Crowns, glittery processional masks and magic sticks. Teenagers like this too! Fee includes all equipment, supplies, instructors, and supervision.

Face Painting: All the little party-goers will want to be Mardi Gras Queens and Kings, but just in case they don't, we'll offer spider man, clown faces, flowers & butterflies, etc. Your adult guests may also wish to have their faces painted-our artists are truly exceptional!

Caricaturist: Our artist will create souvenir cartoons for your guests. This unique form of entertainment is a great icebreaker and provides a lasting souvenir of your event. Artists can handle approximately 15 sketches per hour.

Give-Aways.....

Feather Masks: We will give masks to all of your guests as they arrive. Made of feathers and sequins.....Mardi Gras wouldn't be Mardi Gras without masks.

Centerpieces: Full of all of the fun Mardi Gras paraphernalia...mandalas, masks, serpentine and confetti. They will brighten the tables in true festive fashion. These are created to inspire interactive fun for your guests.
